A tire pressure gauge shows the air pressure levels inside the tire. Most US gauges will show the results in PSI, however, with digital ones you might need to adjust it. The number on the pressure gauge shows in the PSI inside the tire. Compare this to the recommended air pressure levels of the tire to estimate if the tire is under or overinflated, or if the PSI levels are correct.
