The pressure sensors work in two ways, direct and indirect. The direct is using a sensor mounted on the wheel to measure air pressure in each tire, while the indirect system works with the ABS wheel speed sensors. Learn more in our blog: TPMS Light On? Here is What It Means and How to Fix It
